Biography

Wayne Anderson is a native of South Florida where he was born, grew up and matured into the person he is today. Mr. Anderson went to school at Greater Miami Academy for eleven years but graduated from Georgia Cumberland Academy in Calhoun, Georgia in 1978.  He attended two different Adventist colleges, Pacific Union College and Southern College.  He graduated from Southern College in 1984 with a bachelor’s in Music Education.

Mr. Anderson is married to Denise Read Anderson who is also a graduate of Greater Miami Academy and Southern College.  His parents, Dr. O. D. and Naomi Anderson have served Greater Miami Academy as Chairman of the Board and Registrar during the 1960s and 1970s.  David Anderson, Wayne’s brother, is also a graduate of Greater Miami Academy.  Mr. Anderson has a long history with Greater Miami Academy and wanted to continue the family tradition of supporting and contributing to the success of Christian education in South Florida.
